CōTZ Lip Balm is a mineral sun protection in a moisturizing balm that leaves the delicate skin on your lips protected, soft, and smooth. The invisible tint prevents whitening, and it can be used alone or under your favorite lip color. This product contains no chemical sunscreens, oil, lanolin, or gluten, and it is water-resistant for up to 80 minutes.

Chemical Sunscreens work by absorbing UVA-UVB energy and converting it to heat within the skin. Mineral Sunscreens, on the other hand, work by reflecting harmful UVA-UVB rays away from the skin, like millions of tiny mirrors.
Our Story:
CōTZ was founded in 2002 by a plastic surgeon whose mission was to create healthier mineral sunscreens that people would want to wear daily. The result was an all-mineral sunscreen collection that feels elegant while keeping your skin safe from harmful UVA-UVB rays.

CōTZ stands for "Contains Only Titanium and Zinc." All of our products use only the mineral sunscreen active ingredients Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide in sheer, elegant formulas, without any chemical sunscreen filters.
CōTZ mineral sunscreens are known for their uncommonly light, silky feel and virtually invisible appearance on the skin. This is because we use only the highest quality active and inactive ingredients, delivering excellent protection in our formulas.
The tint in our tinted products comes from Iron Oxide, a natural mineral ingredient. Our non-tinted products leave a soft finish, but no pale white cast.
